While Sabina and I were at the plant sale on June 24th, we toured the botanical gardens. My favorite section was the bromeliads but the pavilion area with majestic bamboo plants and the path to the meditation garden were beautiful as well. Of course, the entire fair was within the gardens, so the plants were all around us… some of them were a little tougher to see since the tents of plants for sale were quite the distraction! 😉 Admittedly, we did not see the entire garden, but what we did experience was delightful. USF is located in subtropical agricultural zone 9b.
I love that many of the plants were arranged in vignettes perfect for picture taking. My mind is getting better at creating focal points and longer ranges vistas, so I appreciate the groupings in the botanical gardens.
