The dog days of summer are peaking, as the hope of cooler weather nears. The rains are not as consistent as they used to be, but I am thankful for every thunderstorm that rolls in and quenches the plants that have shriveled in the blazing heat of the sun. While fall is the best season of blooms, everything is finally starting to appear lush. Many of the plants that had died back in the winter are coming into flower, and I’d like to share all of the beautiful August blooms with you.
